MENTAL Series - "Ideas are not created in a vacuum.
In a world of such endless beauty in nature's endless gifts and abundant life models, multitudes of color bearings cannot be denied of our intellectual creativity."
Birds taught us to fly.
Let common sense, which is not always common, teach us the love of human fraternity and global citizenry so world peace can prevail.
Reference to my piece "Peaceful"
The heart is red but it brings out so many
external rich color aspects and feelings in us all.
As seen in my painting "Treasure"

ART OF BUSINESS Series - "I have always been fascinated by the incontrovertible engine and indeed center of the global monitory entanglement. There is great creativity in the manner these financial wizards of Wall Street superintend. Having chatted with some of my art collector clients intertwined in this financial equilibrium, I became cognizant that these guys use their minds, pens and other computerized gadgets compounded by smart marketing strategies to bring to bear humongous financial gains. An artist however uses the mind, brushes and colors to create an interpretative imagery which can also burgeon quickly to attractive pecuniary conclusions, if well marketed. Having been dwarfed by this fiscal facade I could not belong to, I chose elevating my enthusiastic expectations highly to emulate the colossal money appendage artistically. I spent time in New York simply observing and sketching the elementary aspects of this attractive domain. I was pleasantly able to create some reflective colorful assemblages of Wall Street. The results of my artistic adventure echo a bastion of bold competitive shrewdness. The imposing facades, impenetrable without proper authorization, the air of the celebratory exuberance at days gains, the nervousness thereof imposing at moments' losses all lead to a mystical complex, This amalgamation impacted my painterly inquisitiveness. It tickled my creative faculties without regret. I found the trading characters and sites in this enclave colorfully most rewarding. As seen in the concepts " Wall Street", "Trades", " Bullish", " Facade", "Numerical" and "The floor". After this narrative, it is in my creative capacity best to leave the complexities of this monetary abode to financial wizards." - Emmy Lu |

GLAMOUR Series - "Works of art bring the best in us and leave the worst for self correction.
It makes beauty appear relative and sometimes shallow. Is allows a critical view point since art and beauty are in eyes of beholder. Art allows self pretense. One can mentally impose herself or himself as guest character in a painting or environment depicted befittingly. Another individual may just emotionally self eject out of the representation in disapproval. Could well be out of resentment or utter distaste. That is the magnetic or repulsive power of creativity.
The impulse of color can be psychologically consoling and healing, as well as pleasing to those eyes always bombarded with disconcerting global perturbation.
Living in a city of stars with all its undisputed wealth and attractions, one can be inundated, inspired or left to stumble on a Los Angeles pathway with social wannabe's, clowns or luckily enough simply make it to stardom. Unfortunately less than one percent of society climbs the pinnacle of this glamorous enclave. The assemblage in this social deportment bears credence to my greatest inspiration. The reflection of elegance, arrogance, veneer, self assertion, great talent performances amalgamated by paparazzi euphoria and traffic jams are all minimized in a glamorous visual compound. This popularly known magnet "Hollywood", leaves the assessment of virtuoso's entertainment moguls, society regulars and ragamuffins with the term " Hollywierd". totally unambiguous. An artistic reflective gift to me always in the offinging." - Emmy Lu |
